Project FOCUS provides an inclusive university experience for transition-age students to participate in collegiate-level academic courses, community-based work internships and social campus life events.

 

Vision

Our students graduate as independent, self-determined, confident, employable citizens rooted in the knowledge and skills gained during their inclusive university experiences.

Project FOCUS Will...

  • support our students in inclusive environments using evidence-based practices such as student-led IEPs.

  • offer rigorous academic coursework and career readiness curriculum made accessible through student-specific adaptations.

  • find and foster personalized internship sites aligned with individualized career goals.

  • collaborate with local, state and national agencies for the braiding of services to promote and improve the quality of life for our students as they transition into adulthood.

  • provide the essential knowledge and skills to support our students in fully accessing and integrating into the Wildcat Community.
